Experiment 4

Objective: To see if Newton's first Law force require to change speed in direction of a moving object.
Hypothesis: It would be greater if it take the force of speed. As a result of the cart it would take more force to change speed or direction of a moving object.

Materials:
-Hall’s Cart200
-gram mass
-Spring
-scale
-String

Procedure:
1. Use the same setup from experiment
2. Start moving at a slow speed by pulling on the string scale.
3. Then quickly pull harder to accelerate the speed of the speed. Repeat 4-5 times while reading the scale.
4. Start rolling slowly by pulling on the spring scale and then pull the scale in a wide arc to change the direction of the cart. Repeat 4-5 times.
5. Record the maximum force for both.

Data: Trial Start Finish
1.) .5n 1n2.
2.) .5n 5n3.
3.) .5n 2n4.
4.).5n 2n5.
5.).5n 1.5n

Conclusion: My hypothesis was correct. I see that when objects with less force and are small move it has a greater chance of going with the force. It had move of a force feild so it was easier to tell.

Real World: We ca apply this in our everyday life when we leave small object around when there a greater force then it.

Experiment

Objective: To see if an object in motion stay in motion without be forced upon an external force.

Hypothesis: The mass in the hall's cart will not fall out. It will stay in becasue there is no force to make it fall out.

Materials:
-cardboard
-wooden ramp
-cart-100g of mass

Procedure: First place the wooden ramp on the floor. Then tape a piece of cardboard over the hole of the cart. Then put 100g mass on top of the cardboard. Push the cart so that it collides with the edge of the wooden ramp. Do this at least 4 to 5 times.

Data:
1.Pulling the cart by the string.
2.Gently forcing to move toward the edge of the ramp.
3.The cart hit the edge of the ramp and it fell off.

Conclusion: My hypothesis is incorrect. I thought that the mass in the cart will weigh the cart down. Around all I learned that althrough something look like it would be in your favor it does not always come out like that.

Real World: I think that we can apply this in our everyday lifes by looking and taking guesses and then seeing our results of things. For example if we are moving something with an object on top of it then we know it has a good change of fall it we do not carry it out right.

Forces/Newton's Law of Motion

Experiment 2

Objective: Is to apply Newton's Law toward this project. Newton's law describes the connection between the casue of a change in an object velocity and the resulting displacement.

Hypothesis: I believe that the cart will not roll due to the weight and the wheel will be stable.

Materials:

-200 grams

- Cart

- String

-Spring Scale

Procedure:

Tie the string to the cart then the scale.

Next you will tug the the cart that is connected to the scale.

Repeat this step 4 more times.

Data:

Step 1- .70n and 75g

Step 2- .30n and 30g

Step 3- 1n and 100g

Conclusion: My thoughts toward this came out to be right. I took the time out to apply the weight in the cart and then came up with it will not move.World Applying: I think that we can use this if we are building a car. A car is something that we use everyday and this would be a good procedure.

Forces/Newton's Law of Motion:

Experiment 1

Objective: The objects at rest remains at rest unless acted upon an external forces.

Hypothesis: I believe that the car will land on the table due to the wheel and the roll back.

Materials Used:

1.)A Cart

2.) 2 by 1

3.) Ruler

Produres:

1.) Set wood on to the table along with the cart.

2.) Measure 8 inch away from the table to measure how far the wood is where the wood belong.

3.) Place the cart on the wood and then pull the wood out fromt he cart.

4.) Repeat this step over about 4 more times.

Data:

Trail 1-Stayed on the table.

Trail 2-Satyed on the table.

Trail 3- Fell off the table.

Trail 4- Stayed on the table.

Trail 5- Stayed on the table.

Conclusion: The cart did what I said what will happen 80% of the time. When I did the third trail it fell because the measurements where a little off or the cart was to far from the table.

How would you define an utopian society?
1.) Equality
A. Equal Right
1.) Housing and Lifestyle- No Homelessness- No Class System
2.) Government Issues- Job Opportunities- Health Care - Amount of Money won’t care
3.) Purpose/ Mission- Education- Peace- Togetherness
B. Conclusion- Overall

It is often said that a perfect utopian society is made up of comfortable living. Utopian society means an organized group of people in an ideally perfect place. Many views toward this idea can come from many places. A perfect utopian society is when everyone is living together in an equality lifestyle.

Equal rights come from how one feels about how things are handled. In our society today we are based on what class you’re in and how far you can get in life. What this mean, the people in the upper class has the power and the right to say how they want things done and handled while other in the lower classes do not even get their voices heard. In my utopian society there is no class system, everyone should live life as a whole, and everyone feelings that it is reasonable should be handle fashionable.

Some of our greatest fears we live in today is we don’t have the right jobs so we can take care of ourselves in a good manner. This is doing to the lack of our government system. For most Americans it is hard to find a job that has good health care and provide their families with it. The government from my stand point of view is like this well the rich getting richer and the poor get poorer we’re doing our best in a sense. Of my creation toward my utopian society it will contain government issues handled for all even the poor who are trying. It’s our way of saying no one gets life behind and every issues that is put forth is taking head on.

Our biggest down fall toward our society now is that there is not even opportunities and getting ahead and if there is some we do not know about it or it’s too late. As we go on in the future education plays a big part because without an education job opportunities are limited. As well as getting and education it is also hard when one part of the state is getting more advised classes then you are. A society should be based on how well people can function together and when everyone on the same page.

To live in a utopian society that fits you is not hard it’s just something that you have to look really hard for. To many people a utopian society means that it has no government issues, no racism, and no homeless people in it. These things make a perfect utopian society to some but to me that’s not all that people look for. Equality is what I look for in my utopian society. So when you past some new places think about their utopian society and is it equal to all.
